Terms of Service

Last updated August 10, 2026

These terms cover your use of Prose & Concerts — the website and our iOS and Android apps. By creating an account, you’re agreeing to them. We’ll keep this in plain language where we can.

Your account

Anyone can create an account, including with Google or Apple. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for what happens under it; let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, on the web or in the app — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does and doesn’t do to your data.

Your content

You own the memories, photos, videos, comments, and everything else you post (“Member Content”). By posting it, you give us a license to store, display, and distribute it as part of running the app — for example, showing it back to you, or to the people you’ve chosen to share it with. We don’t sell your Member Content, and this license ends when you remove the content or delete your account (subject to the retention behavior described in our Privacy Policy).

You’re responsible for having the right to post what you post, and for making sure it doesn’t belong to someone else without permission.

What’s not okay

To keep this a good place for people to keep their record of shows, please don’t:

  • Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse another member
  • Post illegal content, or content you don’t have the right to share
  • Scrape, copy, or bulk-download the site’s catalog or other members’ content
  • Try to break, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. You can report a comment, thread, or member — see Supportfor how — and in the app, you can block a member so their content stops reaching you, right away and without anyone’s approval. When we confirm a report is a real violation, we try to act within 24 hours: removing the content, and suspending or banning the account behind it.

Copyright

If you believe something on Prose & Concerts uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell us at proseandconcerts.com/copyright or by emailing hello@proseandconcerts.com. We review every report by hand; nothing is removed automatically. If your own content is affected by a report, that same page has a way to respond.

Purchases and subscriptions

Merch and framed-print orders are placed and paid for on our website, processed through Stripe; order details (including shipping) are in your receipt.

All-Access is our optional paid membership, currently offered on our website only (billed through Stripe), monthly and/or annually; gifting All-Access to someone else is annual only. Current pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms are shown to you at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel anytime from your account settings. The iOS app does not offer in-app purchases at this time.

Ticket links. We don’t sell tickets. When you tap “Get tickets” or similar, we send you to the ticketing partner (such as Ticketmaster) to buy directly from them, under their own terms. We participate in an affiliate program and may earn a commission on purchases made after clicking through from Prose & Concerts, at no extra cost to you.

Our content and third-party data

The Prose & Concerts name, design, and everything we make ourselves (outside of Member Content) belong to us. Show, artist, and venue information in the catalog comes from sources including Ticketmaster and MusicBrainz, with similar-artist data from Last.fm, under their respective terms — we don’t guarantee it’s complete or error-free.

Disclaimers

Prose & Concerts is provided “as is.” We’re a small team building this in beta, and we don’t promise the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You can stop using Prose & Concerts and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. Terms that by their nature should survive termination (like ownership and disclaimers) will.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Prose & Concerts after a change means you accept it.
