Ludacris

I wish I could tell you that seeing Ludacris live was as amazing as I dreamed it up to be, and that the crowd was appropriately amped to see him. I wish I could tell you that, but the acoustics at the Cow Palace are abysmal and tech bros don't know how to properly party. His heart was in it, to be fair. And Justin Bieber appeared out of the crowd to perform Baby while smoking what appeared to be a joint. So the show had its moments. But the antechamber was another story entirely. A slo-mo video photo booth. Giant Shaq gummi treats. The world's strongest espresso martini. VIP treatment because Hannah drove a Lexus. And thanks to our "VIP" status, entry to a section right next to a group of famous football players. **ask Josh who, Kittle?** To the man who extended the offer to our entire group — thank you. I'll keep an eye out for another show. Preferably somewhere with better acoustics and an average lobby.

Set up - outside of the concert - was really well done. Great bar. Fun picture booth. Exhibition booths. Good eats. We got upgraded to VIP from the Lexus booth. Offer was that if you owned a Lexus you got two tickets to VIP (Hannah has a Lexus). Problem was that there were three of us. The dude working the Lexus both was super cool and told us to walk around the room and come back and he'd act as if he hadn't met us before (we were dying laughing!) Venue itself wasn't awesome. Acoustics were awful. But we got closer than expected because of the VIP access. We went for Ludacris even though The Chainsmokers played after. We left shortly after The Chainsmokers started This happened over Super Bowl weekend when the game was being played in Santa Clara at Levi's Stadium so we were star watching for sure :)
