We laughed, we cried, and I talked the ear off two fairly famous comedian/actors who I definitely did not recognize (though my friends did) 🤦‍♀️ Turns out, Jimothy is a great connector (we also inducted a very nice Australian couple to our fave raccoon at the show 🦝). The play itself was amazing. A brilliant showing by all the actors and a truly heartbreaking, but ultimately heartwarming, script. Lucy and I cried, of course, but Calisa joined in too, to my great surprise. The night itself was one for the books. Paloma, Calisa, and I got to see Tracy's big girl Park Ave. apartment before heading to dinner at Bar Lola and surprising Lucy with Calisa! We sat directly next to what Paloma coined our Shakespearean foil: a group of girls in their 20s in sequined mini dresses and (kitten) heels. Our table was now all in our 40s (happy birthday, Lu!), wrapped in our finest Jimothy t-shirts and flats. Though both tables were united in espresso martinis. Next was the show, then a tuk-tuk sing-along through Times Square on our way to Margaritaville. Turns out, Lu wanted to go to Margaritaville because she was under the impression that Mr. Warren Buffett was the owner, and she likes to support him because he supports Glide. 💀
