This was the second night of a back-to-back. Which is tough on these twice operated on, wrong side of 40, knees. Needless to say, I almost left the concert an hour before it ended (maybe 30mins into the Fruit Bats set?) because my body ached. Seriously? Where's the old man strength when you need it? Also, um, this was my first SOLO concert. Yea, I did it. So glad I went! So glad I stayed! Such a cool and intimate venue. Maybe a capacity of 1,200? Less? Mix of standing room GA and very limited seating. The first band (Matthew Logan Vasquez) was solid. Entertaining for sure. I was down in the pit. Right in the middle. Leaning against the back wall. Maybe a couple hundred people? It was really fun. The entire night and experience was cool. The band was great. I had recently just started listening to them a ton. They delivered for sure (I guess the lead singer was in The Shins for a bit?) I was definitely the weird, solo, grumpy, (too much) bearded man in the back. Just bobbing his head. Wincing in pain. Can't wait to do it again.

- Great venue. Small but fun to walk in and look at the walls with pictures of various previous performers or tour posters. Super cool.
- Found street parking not too far away. I think street parking is doable near the theater. And not too far. Major plus!
