About Portugal. The Man
Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska, and based in Portland, Oregon. The group currently consists of founding member John Gourley, joined by a group of touring musicians for live performances. Gourley and co-founding bassist Zach Carothers met and began playing music together in 2001 at Wasilla High School.
