About Heart

Heart is an American rock band formed in 1974 in the Pacific Northwest. The band coalesced from previous projects by founding members including the Army (1967–1969), Hocus Pocus (1969–1970), and White Heart (1970–1973). By 1975, the band’s lineup coalesced with Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, Michael Derosier (drums), Howard Leese, Roger Fisher (guitar) and Steve Fossen. These core members were included in the band's 2013 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
